Our Carrier
Nova Hair Dept ships exclusively with UPS Ground for all domestic orders. We chose UPS Ground for its reliable tracking, consistent delivery windows, and careful handling — because your hair deserves to arrive in perfect condition.
- All orders ship from within the United States
- We do not currently offer expedited, overnight, or international shipping
- UPS does not deliver on Sundays or federal holidays
- A valid US shipping address is required at checkout
Processing Before Shipment
Before UPS picks up your order, we take up to 3 business days to inspect, package, and prepare it. Transit time begins only after your order leaves our hands.

Transit Times
UPS Ground transit times vary based on your location relative to our fulfillment location. The estimates below are business days in transit after your order has shipped — they do not include processing time.

Transit times are estimates provided by UPS and are not guaranteed. Nova Hair Dept is not responsible for carrier delays due to weather, high volume periods, or other circumstances outside our control.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and order weight. The exact rate will be displayed before you complete your purchase — no surprises.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable once an order has been dispatched
- Any applicable taxes on shipping will be shown at checkout
- Free shipping promotions, if offered, will be applied automatically at checkout
Tracking Your Package
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your UPS tracking number. You can track your package in real time directly on the UPS website or through the UPS mobile app.
- Tracking may take up to 24 hours to update after your shipping email is sent
- UPS tracking will show each scan as your package moves through their network
- If tracking shows no movement after 3 business days, contact UPS directly first
Delivery Issues
We take care packaging every order, but once it's with UPS, delivery is in their hands. Here's how to handle common situations:
- Package marked delivered but not received — Check with neighbors and around your property first. Then contact UPS directly to file a trace. Email us at hello@novahairdept.co within 72 hours of the marked delivery date if unresolved
- Package visibly damaged on arrival — Take photos before opening. Contact UPS to file a damage claim, then email us with your order number and photos
- Incorrect address — If you entered a wrong address at checkout, email us immediately. We cannot reroute packages already in transit, and we are not responsible for packages delivered to an address provided in error
Always email us at hello@novahairdept.co with your order number when reaching out about a delivery issue. Claims must be raised within 72 hours of the marked delivery date.
